I am passionate about empowering individuals to rewrite their stories and reclaim their mental well-being. With a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am a licensed and board-certified counselor dedicated to guiding adults, adolescents, and children on their path to healing. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, I am committed to staying at the forefront of research and innovation in the field.
Using a holistic approach with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral therapy, I help clients unravel the intricate web of thoughts, emotions, and actions that shape their lives. Whether through individual or group counseling, I aim to create a safe space where transformation can flourish.
As an advocate for growth and learning, I also take pride in mentoring undergraduate and graduate interns as they embark on their own journey toward becoming compassionate healers. Together, let’s unlock your potential for lasting change and personal fulfillment.

Hello! My name is Charity Rossi. I have been a therapist at Dayspring since November of 2021. Prior to working at Dayspring, I had five years of experience as a therapist and ten years of experience total as a social worker. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Alderson-Broaddus College. I obtained a Master of Social Work degree from West Virginia University in 2004, with a focus in direct practice. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of West Virginia.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults to help them make changes that will improve their quality of life. I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach to help clients see how their experiences, thoughts, and beliefs can lead to negative emotional states, such as being depressed or anxious.
I grew up in Logan, WV. After attending Alderson-Broaddus, in Philippi, WV, I made my home in Charleston, WV. I have three sons that have kept me very busy. I enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
